As owners, we work tirelessly to connect new and growing families to qualified birth professionals who provide compassionate, meaningful and exceptional care. It is for that reason that all of our affiliated doulas & specialists are highly vetted and screened to ensure a high standard and elite quality of care.
It is our mission to elevate the role of the birth and postpartum doula. These are standards that we expect all of our affiliated doulas to uphold while bringing their own unique experience, education, and passion to client work. Please note that we are specifically seeking professionally trained and/or certified doulas or newborn care specialists and other birth or postpartum professionals. If you are post-training and working towards certification we encourage you to apply as well.
Below you will information on member eligibility as well as an interest form. We’ll review your qualifications and send you a copy of our prospective member guide and an application. As the nature of birth work is unpredictable, please allow 7-10 business days for a response.
Doulas of Orange County is a subsidiary of National Baby Co, LLC.
All members of our team will enter into a marketing & referral agreement with us,
however all client contracts and payments will go directly through you.
member eligibility
Trained/Certified through a professional organization related to your field and be in good standing
Flexible schedule, reliable transportation, working cell phone and childcare access (if applicable)
Excellent communication skills
Have viable professional contracts for the services you provide
Hold current certification in Child & Infant CPR and Pediatric First Aid by Red Cross or AHA
Hold liability insurance
Have a LLC, EIN tax ID and/or DBA for your business
